Questions (for you)

What does the Royal Wedding mean for the Great British brand?

A while back, I blogged about the shape of the Great British Brand. On the day of the Royal Wedding, I’m interested in how this event is adding to, or changing, the perceptions of Brand Britain.

It seems as though the entire country has got wedding fever. You can’t move for coverage of the event. And it’s not just us – listening to people such as Angela Rippon, other countries are equally as caught up in the goings-on. Which I find fascinating.

So my questions are as following:

  • Will the Royal Wedding change the shape of Brand Britain, either domestically or overseas?
  • What does the event mean to you?
  • Why do you think that people are getting so caught up in the marriage of two individuals that they’re probably never met, and are never likely to meet?
  • And will any change to Brand Britain last, or will it fade as fast as the wedding bouquets?
  • >Let the debate rage!

So - what did you think? Love it? Loathe it? Have something to add? Well, what are you waiting for?
